Our VIP meet & greet service ensures a smooth arrival experience by guiding you through Immigration and Customs. Your designated greeter will be waiting for you with a clearly marked sign before you reach Immigration, welcoming you to Costa Rica. While we strive to expedite your immigration process whenever possible, please note that this is subject to airport approval and cannot be guaranteed. Once you've cleared Immigration, our greeter will help with your luggage, accompany you through customs, and coordinate with your guide and driver to ensure a seamless connection.

Your private guide and driver will meet you at Juan Santamaría International Airport to transfer 127 km (approx. 3 hours) to Nayara Tented Camp. This drive is also an orientation as your guide will shed insights on Costa Rica while you drive, point out interesting land marks and fun facts. The van will be packed with snack and water and there will be stops along the way to stretch your legs as needed.

Included: English-speaking guide + driver, transportation, water, snacks and Wi-Fi.

This luxury hotel in Costa Rica is a little different with stunning clifftop tents that bask in the grandeur of the park´s namesake volcano. Each sophisticated tented accommodation has its own natural mineral spring-filled plunge pool and outdoor shower for luxurious relaxation amongst rainforest scenery. The tents blend into the natural surroundings, built on stilts to optimize the incredible views and minimize the environmental footprint. Efforts to plant thousands of Cecropia trees have created a sanctuary for sloths, who can be spotted with the help of Nayara´s naturalist guides.

Meals:

- For breakfast, it's available from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and offers two styles: buffet or à la carte menu. Additionally, if you want to order room service, you can! (it is included without extra charge) You just need to notify the front desk the day before.

Private Tour Proyecto Asis

Your guide/driver will meet you at the lobby at 8am this morning. At Proyecto Asis, you will receive a brief introduction about the rehabilitation program before exploring the grounds with your naturalist guide. You will have the opportunity to learn the stories of each animal and why animal conservation is so important. You will get the chance to interact with the animals, feed them and take pictures. You will go home with a greater understanding of the conservation and the local wildlife.

Once the Proyecto Asis activity is completed, you will head to Doña Priscilla for the Home Cooked Experience and a delicious lunch!

La Fortuna - Home Cooked lunch with Doña Priscilla

For Lunch today day, you´re invited as a special guest to the kitchen of long-time nature lover and local resident, Doña Priscilla. Inside her rustic, wooden house surrounded by a garden and verdant rainforest, hear the stories of Doña Priscilla´s upbringing in the rural area of Costa Rica´s Caribbean Coast. Her family had to grow or fish anything they wanted to eat, and thanks to these experiences she learned to truly appreciate all that nature has to offer. As Doña Priscilla prepares generational family recipes for your delicious Costa Rican dinner, help out in the kitchen, preparing tortillas and ´patacones´ (plantain patties) as you listen to tales of rural life.

Return to your hotel in the early afternoon for some rest and relaxation.

Private Arenal Volcano Hike

On this adventure, you'll walk through the rainforest at the base of the Arenal Volcano. Your guide will lead you along a 1.2-mile trail that passes through primary and secondary forests. As you make your way up to the volcano's lava formations you will learn about the history of Arenal, identify flora and fauna while exploring one of Costa Rica's most iconic landmarks… Not to mention be rewarded with majestic views of Lake Arenal as well as the continental divide.

Afternoon Private Hanging Bridges Experience

Get ready to enjoy a spectacular rainforest hike from a unique perspective! Traverse a trail loop connected by 15 hanging bridges, 6 of them suspended in the air, allowing for breathtaking views from the treetop canopy where many hard to spot animals live. Keep a look out for monkeys, birds, snakes and lizards as you go!

11:40am: You will be met in the hotel lobby by your private driver who will assist with luggage and escort you to the airport (30 min) for your departing light aircraft flight (Sansa 1100-1101 at 1:20pm).

1:20pm - Domestic Flight to San Jose
Embark on a Domestic flight from Fortuna (Tanque) Departure at 13:20hrs to San Jose arrival 13:50hrs. The 30 minute flight will offer stunning views of the Costa Rican landscapes from the air. Upon arrival you will go to the Sansa Airlines counter to check in for your continuing flight on to Manuel Antonio.

Baggage Allowance:
For flights operated in Cessna Grand Caravan: you have included 1 piece of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 40 lbs. and maximum dimensions of 45 inches / 114 cm. (length + height +width).

If there is no space on the same flight to send your luggage‚ we will send it on the next available flight and it will only be transported to the destination airport. The airline is not responsible for sending luggage beyond our stations.

Hand Luggage
• You can transport as hand luggage only one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 10 pounds and 20 inches/50 cms (length + height + width).
• In addition‚ each passenger can transport in the cabin‚ under their custody and at no additional cost the following items:
• Woman's handbag.
• Reading material.
• Infant food to eat on the flight.

2:10pm: Domestic Flight To Manuel Antonio
Embark on a Domestic flight from San Jose Departure 14:10 to Quepos arrival 14:40hrs. The 20 minute flight will offer stunning views of the Costa Rican landscapes from the air.

Your private driver will meet you at Quepos Airstrip to transfer 12 km (approx. 20 minutes) to Arenas Del Mar, in Manuel Antonio.

Ocean View Premium Suites are spacious, 1-bedroom luxury suites. Look out over Manuel Antonio National Park. Watch the sun sink into the Pacific Ocean. These are the best seats in the house. Best option if you want ample space and the best views of Manuel Antonio & the Pacific Ocean.

Manuel Antonio Park with a Private Guide

Enjoy the charms of the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. Its extensive white sand beaches backed by beautiful green exuberant forests with diverse flora and fauna. Your guide will teach you about the park's distinctive plant life and locate camouflaged fauna which includes around 110 species of mammals and more than 200 species of birds. You will observe monkeys, agouti, sloths and deer. Discover new panoramic views from different lookout points of well maintained nature trails while having a jungle beach hike and then stop for a refreshing dive into crystalline waters. We recommend to wear breathable, lightweight and comfortable clothes, hiking shoes or sneakers, hat and sunglasses. It is important to use high-protection sunscreen and insect repellent. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars to make of your activity a memorable one.
